I chose to record my first sound in the doorway of a Qdoba (the circle on the map.) I recorded these sounds between 6-6:30. There were not that many people there, so one could hear the background music over the people as I was leaving. As I walked out, I felt the cool breeze of the night air and looked around at the buildings around me, the BP station across the street, the shoe store and Hollywood Video next to it. It was very colorful to the eye.
